The ending of my attachment in Shook Lin and Bok

A gift from my boss. I got the choice to pick first!haha.. or not Jane will surely sapu this! I heart this farewell gift lotssssss.........:)

So as mentioned, today is my last day in Shook Lin and Bok. Yes, Im emo now. I mean, I was really happy to not work anymore, but I will miss my work and the moments there. Im a weirdo.

So sweet right..??He may have got some scoldings from his boss or what, yet he didnt express his anger on me lor. which makes me feel so bad.

Wanted to take pics wif rumeel and mark but then they are still not back yet when it's already 5pm. So I can't get to take pics wif them.*frown*

My mentor was in court the whole day. So I miss this opportunity to have a pic wif him. Haih it's a busy day for SLB.

I didn't get my letter of reference yet. See how busy they are? gosh.

KL TRAFFIC

Today's traffic is the WORST I had EVER encountered since I started driving last 2 years. I set off at 8am in the morning(ok lar..it's 8.11am) and the JAM started after the toll in jalan damansara. massive traffic jam. It was then 8.22am. So it was jam all the way towards eastin hotel. Not even slow-moving ok..it's like bumper-to-bumper situation lor.

Worst come to worst, when im on my way to jalan tun perak, the road was CLOSED. APALAH!! last time they blocked one of the roads, today they blocked the whole road of tun perak. HOW ON EARTH DO U EXPECT ME TO GO TO JALAN RAJA CHULAN? TELEPORT KAH?

So I kinda "de-tour" KL la. Plus Im not familiar with the road there. So what do I do? I depend on-ROAD SIGNS.

Any other way in KL was also, at that time, facing a massive traffic jam. And I was late for 2 and the half hours. I reached at 10.30am. Luckily boss belum sampai.*wide grins*

Tomorrow will be my last day of work. No.......! I will miss everybody in Shook Lin and Bok. They are humourous people, trust me. You'll enjoy ur attachment life there. Im that serious k. They dont discriminate attachees. *grins*

The Injection Phobia

Crap. I had 3 injections today.

It has been raining all day. Yeah chase the haze away.! and the drizzling hot weather.

Im gonna end my attachment this fri in Shook Lin and Bok. Oh no, for the first time,i bet imsoooo gonna miss work. yes minyuen actually miss work. It's hard to leave my colleagues. and my bosses. They had been really nice and caring n im emotionally attached to them now. So I donot look forward to complete my last day of work.
(Oh,however, im glad i do not need to drive back n forth to kl ny-more.teehee:)

I hope I get to befriend that "that-guy-who-never-smiles." Ya even my colleague Jane actuallyfelt that he's kinda unfriendly. I don't know,maybe he's shy or what. You never know.(haha perasan hor!)

So my uni-mates n i get to know our halls,finally. I got Paul Kent Hall pulak. (I wanted clive booth u see!) I will appeal. I mean, no point staying so far right.(It's 1.5 miles away from my campus lor!) unless there's alot of leng zais to see lor.(Please forgive me for being that silly.)

And I don't like to miss ppl. They will just keep on appearing on ur mind but u can't get to see them.

Bullshit.

In the memory of Lee Eon

Unpleasant news, for korea esp. I bet almost everybody knows bout this korean drama, coffee prince. One of the actors in the name of Lee Eon, passed away recently in which he got into a serious accident. I was totally unaware of this until my cousin informed me. It is even more devastating to us-who-love-korean-series 'coz in my view, he has a humourous look,talent and possesses excellent acting skills.

Condolences to his family and friends. Worst still, he's the only child.

It is an undefined loss to the korean entertainment industry without him existing.

The life as an attachee

Im entirely busy this week. I had been working in Shook Lin and Bok for a week.n i can't wait for my attachment to end in another week's time.

I had been doing research n assignments d most. I took a trip to jalan duta high court with one of the partners ie my mentor to witness a civil case. And coincidentally. I get to meet somebody which I shouldn't elaborate here.

However. however. i drove to my workplace everyday from kota damansara to KL town. It's not really that jam in d morning though d traffic was dense cos i always leave at 8am everyday.(i know it's a bit late)but when it comes to 5.30pm,i will start having bad evening-mares. it's super duper terrible in the evening. even worse when there's a heavy downpour. I was stuck in the jam for 2 freakin hours just to get out from jalan raja chulan.(n that's d reason y i always wanna leave early!)

By the time i reach home, i will be drop-dead-exhausted. battery dead.aiyoweiya.

Though working is tiring, I get to learn stuff which will never be taught in law school. I get to see a lawyer's real world as an attachee here. And what matters to me the most in Shook Lin is the life being a lawyer in the future. Trust me it is never easy for them. Never ever.

I always thought that being a lawyer is really cool and interesting. Well this thought no longer exist in my dictionary anymore after my one week attachment in shook lin. It's a hectic life to be a lawyer. That's what I personally feel.

Blogging in d office again

So 2day is my first working day in shook lin and bok. I can never believe myself that I actually drove down to my workplace. AND i actually practised to drive to kl for a few times last week.

Nevertheless, today they blocked up one of the roads to my workplace. AIYOWEIYA. I only know that blardy road! n the-dont-know-who nicely put some barriers in d middle of the road. what do i do..? i had no choice but to follow other cars. who r actually lost too.

So I nicely make a right turn...it leads to the way where im familiar with. YEAH. but it's the way back home. MY GOD. of coz im not goin back to damansara. so i took the right lane, which leads me to the parliment building. further down i saw this-BERHENTI PEMERIKSAAN POLIS.

Thank goodness there's a right turning right before the police check. Im sooo not goin into the parliment headquarters.(though the building is really impressive..)

So I just turn and turn......and it leads me to a famous landmark.. masjid jamek.YEEPEE. thank goodness im not lost. never wanna be late for first day u see.hehe.

Im still waiting for my mentor. I guess office workers have the monday blues.haha.

Mum forced me to go to the dentist today for a tooth check-up. I never had a nice feeling to the dentist. N worse come to worse, the dentist today performed an X-Ray on my right wisdom tooth and informed me that I need to do a surgery. A minor aural surgery. It really freaks me out when I heard this.

I had never in my life, did a S-U-R-G-E-R-Y.

I'll be starting my attachment in Shook Lin and Bok next monday. I nicely visited the office this morning. I'm impressed+nervous.

The sudden reply by Shook Lin and Bok really gave me a reasonably good excuse for me to stop working. in gideon tan razali zaini. hahaha so after all d naggings by my mum n dad, i was asked to call up gideon tan to inform them n that i'd been told several times to "leave in good record".

So today I got the chance to relax again. but then i dont have much time to procrastinate, n i nicely bought my luggage today..

So next week i will settle my visa..most importantly.

N last but not least, my ear hurts a lil bit when i took d earrings off. but i think larh d hole has gone bigger. haha bu-la-yo.

We finally met each other last week. Though we were shocked, I'm sure we r both glad bout it.

It's the secret admirer. *giggles*

I think my laptop started to have some mao bing.

Though it's a short period of working in gideon tan, I learnt many things in terms of life.

1. Life is boring-quote by my L.A. and a chambering student
2. Money is not easy to come by
3.Working is tiring x infinity
4.Tolerance of unbearable scoldings of a minor mistake done when u r blardy innocent
5.Ego n status need to be set aside absolutely
6.Get used to office politics

I was working in Gideon Tan Razali Zaini, helping my legal assistant to send one email when I randomly checked my mail in gmail.

Out of the blue,I got an offer from Shook Lin and Bok.

I'm still very happy bout it.

Booh. starting my attachment from august 4th-sept 3rd. Salary is 600 ringgit. not bad lar for a second yr student eh?

I gotta settle my temporary accomodation now. Time constraint u see. Somemore haven't gao time visa..luggage..wah sei..feel like inventing a time machine.

Just came back from a shopping spree wif mum for officewear. Got most of those from edmunser and accent. Their clothes r really worth it when there's sale.

I terpaksa forgo the chance to go to KLCC wif angela and weiyee cos of urgent matters.

This is my first time going to work.
