Mooting

Been very busy these few days..mooting is on Monday at 3pm..need to prepare my script and go through my opponent's bundle of authorities b4 I can actually prepare my script..haihz gonna burn midnight oil today..(used to tell myself I will but in the end it turns out to be the other way round...)

Bout the client interview..Thank God it's a good one. Ms Awanis liked it.My clients were claiming for properties owned by their dad(deceased).The estimated value is 2 mil.They were fighting during the whole interview,me and esther had to keep on calm them down.It's not easy to handle them as this is my 1st experience.Btw, I'm so pleased. At least I need not worry bout that.Mooting is killing me.There's so much work.Besides finding my bundle of authorities, I need to scrutinise my opponent's ones as well..and then I need to prepare my script for that..and then there's so much homework for criminal subject..3 long questions..I guessed we need to write 9 pages of essays..-.-

Me and my partner,amirah and other group of respondents has been staying back in the library searching for law reports..did some case findings..and explanation of facts..reading the judgments..my eyes are seeing nothing but judgments of cases..pooh-.-

Everybody is just so tensed up and moody..however,one good thing bout mooting is that we tend to improve our relationship among classmates.Pointed out by Lit Fwu.I agreed with him.I'd been very close to yi ping's angels except kah ying,she's the appellant..hua jie,wei chao,ainun,kian min(hardly talk to him in class,he's very quiet)and many more..im glad bout that.The 'wall' has been broken.I used to think that they were ''snobbish''..hmmm..silly me''

I love parties!

Chinese New Year Party

Nervous.Preparing my contract law textbook and searching high and low for my contract notes,I grabbed my wallet and handphone and slipped it into my bag. I was allowed to use the car and so, took the car keys and remote and headed straight to KDU college. It was 7.50 am, reached college at 8.05 am. Saw a nice parking place..hehee rested for 15 minutes then received a phone call from wei yee, my close friend in college. She informed me that she's already in cafeteria. So I went to find her. Ordered a Hainanese Breakfast Set and a hot Milo.



4 hours of torture of contract law. I can't really recall which topic she covered. My eyes were half opened.Oooh.Finally she gave us a break.A half an hour break. Then only I realised Pik Khee actually knocked someone's car. Her Proton Waja was not badly damaged,merely scratched, but the Aveo Chevrolet was badly dented.Wow.Waja is tough baby. She went to the Guard House and managed to get the owner's phone number and contact him.



After class, at 1pm, we went to starbucks coffee in One U Old Wing, as it is so much wider compared to New Wing Starbucks.Wow it's so hard to find a proper parking place during Saturdays.. As usual, I ordered an ice blended Mocha without whipped cream, and a chicken union roll, as I had not taken breakfast. Any food looked appealing.Haha.Spotted a cute guy hahaa..hehee with his laptop..



We discussed about the mooting session. Case- Paper v Cotton. Haha..read the chapter of offer and acceptance. I am the respondent for the case, and the junior counsel. Aaa..I need to argue more than Amirah.She's my senior counsel. Two days ago, only realised there's gonna be a client interview the coming tuesday. And I'm the 1st team. Same goes to Mooting. Wow lucky number one for both. We are not told who is going to be out client. Not even the facts of the case. Basically we need to be very well-prepared and need to think wisely of what questions we are supposed to ask our clients in order to obtain full information, and also to propose an appropriate solution for their unsolved doubts.



Finally I fetched my friends to my house. My relatives already arrived. I'M SO EXCITED. Hehee..dont know why.Luckily the party went on very smoothly,no rain. Hahaa..here's some photos..

Mooting

Yesterday,at 3pm, we finally got our mooting topic and also being informed who is our teammate.Feeling nervous, I grabbed the paper and looked for my name..(minyuen minyuen...where r u..)Oh! I'm with amira..!! Haha..luckily didn't get ''qing gu'' as my partner,if not I'll suffer.Terribly SUFFER. jaja:)

Our mooting topic will be on Paper v Cotton. Haha..fiction..??I was staring at the topic for a while..then communication skills's class went on....the class was lil bit boring,me and my frens were chatting the whole lesson..haha we were talking bout all kinds of funny things,like ''flasher'',golf,tennis and all stuff.

Me and my family went to Summer Palace to eat dim sum. The food there is great, and the price is quite reasonable..as they are having an offer.But it doesn't apply if u wanna take away..they'll charge u double from the offer price..hehe...dunno what to write also...so I'll just stop here..Hang on i'll be updating my blog this weekend most probably..hehe...bb

Coping with stress

While I was cracking my brain of completing my essay of voluntary manslaughter,my cousin asked me '' Never update blog?'' Oh..great idea..hehe because I really get stranded in writing my essay.The question goes like this:

U,who was 22 years but with a mental age of 10 years, had a terrible temper, which he did his best to control. Also, because of a motoring accident he had only one leg. He was in the playground when a fellow pupil,V, abusively called him, ''Peg-leg.'' U lost his temper and pushed V to the ground. V,who had a thin skull was concussed by the fall. X,who was U's best friend, tried to pull U away from V whom U was trying to kick. W, a school master, came to the scene and, misunderstanding what was going on, pulled X off U. Released U ran and kicked V on the ground. V had died as a result of concussion and internal injuries.

Of course, U would not be guilty of murder because the mens rea cannot be satisfied,as he was provoked by V. And, for causation, I had only applied the O & S test..I'm confused whether I should apply other tests.Aaarghh! She's gonna 'attack' us again; is she having PMS everyday??

I have 2 assignments to do, which is legal method and contract law. The due date for legal method's assignment is 20th of march. So gonna do quick.Hmmmm....then there's gonna be a mooting which covers 40%...gosh...so much...The topic is gonna be about OFFER and ACCEPTANCE. My head,again,is gonna filled up with offer..acceptance..bla bla bla...


There's so many things to do

The fact that I'm gonna have a party on next saturday..and many of my friends are coming...I'm so excited!!! Heheheee.e...

A Lovely Chinese New Year

While it was of central importance for me to continue the mahjong game, I nevertheless viewed the surprising idea of going to makhota parade was better.Because,this time,I'm going with my cousins.Haha..!(with the feeling of letting go my chance of winning big $$$)

So we headed to Mahkota Parade and took a few instant pictures.

So I decided to smile.Keke same goes to mei xuan.Hmm..weiyi,hong wei and kai shien looked good in posing though a lil 'cacated'.

After that,we went to watch 'protege'. Me,mei xuan and hong wei queued up for 40 minutes just to purchase the tickets,and finally we did. However,luck wasn't on our side when the back and middle seats were occupied.Reluctantly, I chose the first row of seats.It's my first time sitting so front.Daniel Wu is seriously good-looking,as always.

Such a nice dream

Yesterday I had a splendid night.Guess what?I dreamed of having the Sony Ericsson W880i...haha funny right..??I don't know why..but it seemed so real when a knock on my door spoiled everything.Damn.Where's my new phone..then only I realised it's actually a dream.Aargh...what the heck..Suddenly my small sis bumped in with her school uniform,saying''Bye bye!'' She is used to going into my room at 6.30 am while I was asleep by unlocking my room door with the master key, and telling me goodbye before she goes to school.This time,I said''Mmm''(in a sleepy manner)..Man..you spoiled my dream....

Not long after I'd woken up,my mum came into my room and said''Wanna do your ic? You have reached 18.'' Oh..yahor..Need to renew my Identity Card....but I wasn't in a mood..so I replied''No way.I'm too lazy to do that.Another time la,'' Then she started grumbling,it would be difficult to find another day as I'm very busy this year.Though I agree with her,but too bad I'm not in a mood to queue up in the IC Department,nor taking a picture.So, just forget it.

Then only I remembered I had a dinner appointment.Oh..what the heck..luckily its only morning.Whoa everything's so sudden..siao lang..then my pulse quickened at the very thought of having loads of homework being untouched.I'd learned that my lecturers are seriously gonna burst into flames when they realised students didn't finish their homework they gave.My criminal law lecturer,ms meera actually stopped Julian from going to the washroom.Terribly insane.No matter how important or valuable is your lecture, I think it is not necessary to prohibit students from going to the washroom.Julian ignored her and went.He even argued with her.She had gone mad.I felt that.

A trip to palace of justice

Yesterday the law society organised a trip to a court in Putrajaya-Palace of Justice.My friends and I were informed to dress formally in black or white colour.I wore a white blazer and a black knee-length skirt which I bought from Elle.I was so eager to see my buddies and the guys in our class to be formally dressed.Haha can't wait siao...

Finally I arrived at 7.30 am and saw a few of my friends.Wow.So cool.One of my friends,pik khee,looks like a lawyer.She's dressed in a black blazer with a black pants,in formal officewear.Most of my friends did not put on a blazer,haha they looked partly casual,but more to the formal side.Suddenly we saw 20 packets of McDonald's take-away,we wondered whether is it for us..haha but then we only paid 10 bucks for the bus fare,are they that kind to spare us lunch from McD...?? We were giggling so loud until they actually heard us..haha paiseh''

My friends and I waited for almost half an hour before we managed to board the bus.I was wondering who's the idiot who created so much hevoc..??Out of a sudden...''qing gu''appeared in front of Kdu's main entrance with a loosen tie, hair uncombed.Basically I was a lil blur when my friends started giggling and whispering bout him.Haaha..it's really funny because he,seriously looked more like a driver...than a future lawyer..keke~

The journey took about 45 minutes, and we started taking loads of pictures inside the bus to kill time.When we reached there,oh my goodness.I did not expect the ''court'' to be so huge,it's like a White House.Normally,the court that I'd visited is not that grand,and not that beautiful.I was amazed.There goes to my friends too.Luckily we dressed formally..or else..the security guard would have chased us out.Haha...

We were led to a place where Members of Parliament usually gather.We selected a seat far behind,and each seats is provided a mike.One of the guys played with the mike and wanted to say my name''Min yuen..Min yuen!!'' Cold sweat.Thank goodness the mike wasn't working.Hahaaa...

Then we went to listen to a civil case-a divorce case. Oh I really pity the respondent,which is the wife.Apparently,the appellant earned 3570 ringgit per month,and he has two new wives.He had apparently seek a divorce with the respondent,and appealed to the court that 1000 ringgit of maintenance fee paying to her is too much,and may it lowered down to 300 ringgit per month.I was thinking..how the hell a person is going to survive with 300 per month??Are you nuts,plaintiff's lawyer?? My friend,carolyn,was whispering that:''hey,just my bag also nearly 400 la,stupid one!'' Yea,it doesn't make sense at all..even though the respondent has half a share of the video cd shop..but that's not the way to solve it..I think the problem is with that **appellant.Tak ada duit lagi mahu cari pasal..tak tahu malu punya meh..??

After that,we went to visit the prison inside.Gosh.Now only I know how is it like to be in a prison.Freakingly horrible..I'm not going to be too detailed in this particular topic..But,as I wonder,those who are guilty and sentenced to jail really deserves it.They ought to live like this.Man..am I too evil..??

Jan 2007 must be a bad month for me.Just 3 days ago,I was involved in a car accident where I knocked into a curb and my tyre got punctured.Then trouble came.It was raining heavily and dark,and the tyre appeared to have let out smoke.Gosh.What on earth??!!Then today,I suddenly noticed that my wallet wasn't in my bag.Oh God.I find and find and find.Rushed up to the computer lab which is 3 floors up,then rushed down to the library..rushed to the moot court.And I found nothing.Then I went to the library and search and search and search.Cold sweat.I'm confused.Kua jin and sia sia were there and they helped me to find my wallet.Find and find and find.Nothing.Out of the blue I needed to pee.Ah forget bout it,my missing wallet is more important!So I reported to the student services..and here's what I wrote..

Then,they told me about the details..and bqfiwqldv,~~~There's only 31 ringgit inside.Uh Oh.What happened to the 200 ringgit in the 1st compartment??My goodness...I tot of going shopping for chinese new year to shop for stuff.So I wanted to curse the person who took away my money.But I have to think of how to curse him/her.Make sure him/her would SUFFER.Or even worse.

My dad informed me that fresh graduates( lawyers) would receive a basic of 2000 pounds per month,which is equal to almost 14,000 ringgit Malaysia.Hmm..that is INTERESTING.That is if u get a job and work there.I was thinking of this for a few days,so I have to motivate myself to study in order to get this law degree which I'm doing now in KDU college.Despite the fact that my textbooks are almost a thousand pages,and where the font size of the words are less than 12,I actually care to make regular review and make notes.Something is wrong with me,I thought.Not only that,the temptation to switch on the TV and sit on the sofa is getting less and less now.No more tv for me.Maybe is because of 'peer pressure'.My friends are so hardworking,responsible and smart,and if I don't push myself to the top I would be DEAD.That's the reason why I'm different.

It happened yesterday afternoon when I was driving my mum's benz heading towards the shops nearby to photocopy some notes I didn't collected on monday.As I had finished,went back to the car, and abhbovubqvjb~~~the car's shaking!!Oh my goodness..what on earth.The Benz got dented.It's not that serious but the dent is obvious.There stood a man with his Fed-Ex Uniform looking at the damage that has been done.Gosh I almost fainted when I saw it.Then he asked me ''macam mana?''So I replied him''Macam mana?''

He asked me to follow him to his friend's bengkel and told me that he can repair the car.Hmm damn super suspicious.I was saying''i mana tahu u baik ke tak baik?''So I demanded him to pay me some cold cash 1st.He replied in a sudden''I aje 50 saja''. So I did not know what to do,then he kept on explaining why..how..where...stories banyak-banyak..

Then I roughly survey the students in KDU..they are different from taylors' people.But I just can't spot the difference.I really dunno why.Then there's this nice guy about 180 cm tall and kinda have a muscular body seeked me if I need help.I stunned for awhile.Then he led me to wherever.He's also very friendly.So I told him details with wh questions.

This has been my 3rd day in KDU college.Although I still not used to the new surroundings,I'm still grateful for the friends I'd just made as they are super duper friendly and helpful as I didnt attend my 1st day of college.They actually noticed my absence and asked me loads of questions as I hardly know them.The day I saw them was during the course orientation.The nervousness is gone.

Then I have friends who's so kind where they asked me'' wanna get some cold hard cash?''haha..lovely..we kinda of ''berpakat'' and I'll get 150 bucks at the end of the day.Awesome! But bare in mind we didnt do anything illegal,as we are law students..haha

The 1st day in Kdu was quite ok..I actually went to explore the whole college look see look see,its definitely better than taylors' by 70%.Maybe is bcuz they renovated the building and the cafeteria.The building reminds me of IKEA ,haha becuz it contains blue and yellow colour,while the cafeteria is damn huge,larger than taylors' by 40% gua..(by the way, I'm not good in estimating)haha..then I have a problem.I cant find the washroom..what on earth! I went hunting for the toilet,it took me 10 mins to find it as it's hidden in a small corner..sigh~~I went in lor..then as i finished peeing,once I opened the door,shocked me all of a sudden that Joyce stood before me and started screaming and hugging me!! I was totally blanked for 2 seconds haha maybe I didnt eat enough banana{as banana contains potassium??},that's the result of slow reaction gua~~Then I was totally overjoyed!! What on earth I would meet them there man!! Jenice was also there.They were my taylor's classmates and although we were not very close,but these two girls are seriously good in creating humours and would juz cheer up your day.Man I'm so happy!!

Then its time for our couse briefing.So Jenice and I headed to the KDU court which is in the 1st floor.I went in and I saw three large pictures-agong,his wife and Pak Lah.What on earth I have to see them everyday?? OMG..this is seriously....And there goes the Malaysian flag and the Selangor flag..super long and huge flags..errrrhennnnmmm

Then I received the timetable for my group.Wow!! I love it.

For Monday,I have class from 9-12

For Tuesday,I have class from 9-12,then break from 12-3,have class again from 3-5. 3 hours break???

For Wednesday is my off day.

For Thursday,class from 9-12

For Friday,class from 10-1,break from 1-2,class again from 2-4

For Saturday,class from 9-1

Firstly,6am morning call is OVER!! hooray!!!

Secondly,I have break for 3 hours!!

Thirdly,there's no more 7-8 hours of lecture!!

Fourthly,malaysian studies is not necessary!!Oh ya,still remember of so called ''gerakan min yuen''where I was being blamed for supporting communist..what on earth..

aargh geramnya..juz now typed one big bunch of letters but 4get to save!!Thanks to my tv programme too...eergh!!Actually I celebrated my bday late tis yr,which is on d 25th nov,and all thx to my final exam which falls in between d 13th..sadnya..haha anyway i kinda enjoyed much bcox my young and funny buddies are so mentally and physically 'strong'/How evil they are when I was demanded to use only my mouth to grab out d stuck candle inside my bday cake..and thx to them tat ants were so nice wif me until they were all over me.Wishing me happy bday too i guess??

Today I met tat ***** handsome hot guy again..oh gosh I guess I went mad tat time.Its so obvious but I cant resist it./Maybe I'll be thinking of him tonite.Another sleepless night~~Even my 9 year old sis noticed him and informed me,man he muz be used to girls' attention^^super big eyeballs}almost d size of 1 dollar coin.haha..

SAM prom night was lovely overall~~its juz d food tat is horrible..as in chinese tea is considered as a dish when I flipped open d menu...oh god..Sunway Resort Hotel really needs to change their food variety-.-''

I went to the saloon and get my hair done,approximately for 1 hour.When I got back,played a short internet game,and get myself prepared at around 6.25pm,waiting for my friend's mum to pick me up.However, she reached my house at about 7 pm,which then i started to get mad.Then only I know that she dont know how to go to Sunway Resort Hotel.Pity me.I wished I can just get down and take a taxi.It would be faster,so much faster.

And guess what time we reached...its at almost 8 pm!Man,do u need 1 hour to travel from damansara to sunway??It's ridiculous,thank you to my lovely friend who did not inform her mum of the exact venue.So she actually took the wrong way,and got to make a U-turn where I dont even know where we ended up.Along the way,I received about 7-8 phone calls from my friends and a few messages to find out what happened.

Thank goodness we'd finally reached.When I went in,it started already.Since the lights are switched off,I had a hard time trying to find my table,depending on the candle light on each table.Luckily Krystle informed me earlier its in d front left,therefore I made my way there and got settled down.

I had a fun time during d prom night.They had as few nominees for prom King and Prom Queen.Luckily my favourite nominee won d title as Prom Queen and become Miss taylor's^.^errrrh-Prom King's lovely too~~Then there's this history of Kungfu whereby it comes from a man and the crocroach...haha they entertained us well!!

SAM prom night ends at about 11pm.Lastly,goodbye SAM and L3...

Juz finished legal studies trial exam..finally I can relax for a while,as I studied like crazy yesterday.i started studying from 8.30 am and finished at 10.50 pm..wow my brain almost cracked,keke..but luckily hard work pays as the ones I studied came out..phew thank God..

But,it's such a pity that some parts I didnt study came out in the essay questions..this is the result of last minute studying-/-Oh ya,guess what?/During exam today,when I was on my way back to class,I actually entered into the wrong class and I didnt realised.I wonder why the teacher like''ooi!! ooi!!'' Then the students were like 'staring' at me,then I juz woke up all of a sudden..so damn embarrasing^>^guessed I lose my mind.

The next scary subject would be mathematical studies~~~and,maybe economics.I'm afraid I'll get panic and stared at the question for 20 minutes..keke

my first trial paper will start this fri which falls on d 22nd of sept,which starts at 7 AM..oh..this is rather terrible as I guess I have to get up at 5+...sobsob le..I really need a buddy system-.-

d first paper is legal studies,and I haven't really read through it yet..I GUESS it's time to crack my brain and start memorising all d cases and sections..as well as what r d cases about..need to put in a lot of effort--

I was browsing through my secondary life juz now,coz I missed my buddies so much`~`even though I could escape from all of those lame school rules and uniforms,I regretted of my thinking that I wanna get out from secondary life and enjoy college life..it's worse now-.-

Well,trials is next week,so it's about 9 days to study for 5 subjects,wow that's d effect of last minute studying..keke..anyway,tomoroow's malaysian studies final exam..oh gosh~~!why do we need to study that 'malaysian studies'exam??It's not that we r not patriotic enuff rite...my neighbour actually hung a super big flag during national day,it's about d size of most schools have.

I hate studying malaysian studies~~first of all,it's so lame..moreover those things we'd learned duing secondary life..wanna torture us again meh???haihz..watever..///somemore it's like one big bunch of notes lying there waiting for me to absorb-.-''

Oh ya,our maths teacher has been complaining that we didnt do her work,when I was sitting in front today.She told me that looks like she's d one doing d homework...who to blame la/we got 6 essays to write in half a day,moreover we got other stuffs to do la,if not study 24 hrs meh?

I realised my entertainment time has decrease by so much compared to secondary life.Last time I used to spend about 6 hrs plus on entertainment,and can u imagine now I only have like 4 hours plus only..gosh!!

it's been quite some time since I'd been here...I'm back~~arrgh nowadays I'd been very busy,this whole week is exam week..and starting from 22nd september is my trials,and the month of november is my finals.What a busy year~~2006@_@

Well,recently,I started to play gunbound other than neopets~~keke(anyway,neopets been so boring to me )I still remember when i just started to play this game,everyone's been bullying me..coz my aiming and power lil bit 'cacated'..there's big bullies in gunbound--
